Has been an industry designer since 1969 with a focus on environmental issues in furniture, electrical products and household products with design studios in Osaka and Milan.

Kita has already written several books on the philosophy of movement. His attention is focused on the way we move when we are seated. Many of his designs are located in the Museum of Modern Art, New York, in the Centre George Pompidou, Paris and the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich.
